Hello, friends. For years, I have tried to do the multiplatform approach to my books. I hate being forced into exclusivity. I think it’s a scummy thing. However, the majority of my sales are from Amazon. I rarely sell books on other platforms, and while I can proudly say I have sold at least 1 book a month since October 2021 with or without ads, the hard facts are my ad costs exceed the profits I bring in almost every month.

So, what does this mean going forward? As many know, I am in the process of having professional audiobooks made. I plan to use this as a soft “reset” for the series. Sometime in August, I will remove my books from every platform except for Amazon. I hope by September everything will be done, and I will put my books on Kindle Unlimited. The Audiobooks will also be on the similar service when they first release.

If you use a service other than Amazon and want the books, I would look into getting them soon. Smashwords also has a heavy sale on my books going right now. The first book is even free for the duration of the sale. The first time I’ve ever done that on any service, I believe.

It was a hard decision for me to make, but I think it is the right one for now.
