Hello My Name Is:

Hello! I'm Alyssa Kessinger. The first half of my childhood was spent in Fort Wayne, IN. The second half was spent in Columbia City, IN. I've have wanted to be a writer since I was very young, and am now attempting to accomplish that dream. I have one book out so far, The Users.
The Users is available on both the Kindle and the Nook. It is my first book, but I also have several short stories available through the kindle.
My inspiration for The Users came from many people in my own life. Characteristics of the characters mirror some of my friends, but the book is still, thankfully, fiction. Currently I am working on a couple more ideas and hope to have something out before the end of the year.
I would like to give a shout out to my American fans and the fans in the UK. You keep the wind in my sails and have given breath and life to my dream. I can't thank you enough for that. I love each and every one of you.
I would like to leave here with a question that I have been struggling with.
A newborn is found to process the cure of cancer within its blood. The only way to be able to replicate this cure is to take a certain number of samples, that would ultimately kill the baby.
Would the world as a whole sacrifice an innocent baby for the good of the whole, or would we allow the masses to die in pain.
Food for thought. I do not know the answer, but still I am searching for one.
