When my publisher announced that they would be upping my release date for my second novel, Diminished, I had a mixture of feelings. On the one hand: Diminished is a summer story so it makes sense for it to be released in August when the heat is annoyingly present. On the other: two books in seven months? That seems like a lot. And it was, it is. It’s been so much work. But we’re at last coming to the other side of it all.
