I have another book coming out, and this one’s due really soon.

Wizard’s Tower Press have taken on my novella Walking a Wounded Land as part of the Wiz Duo series, in which two novellas are published in a single volume. My story will share a cover with The Sheltering Flame by Ruthanna Emrys, both stories exploring themes of magic embedded within the landscape.

Walking a Wound Land is one of the most grounded and personal things I’ve written, a story about dealing with grief and guilt, but also about what the simple action of walking can represent.

I’m delighted to be published by Wizard’s Tower, whose other publications include Juliet E McKenna’s fantastic Green Man books. I’ve been lucky to find publication with a series of brilliant British small presses, and that luck continues with this book.

Walking a Wounded Land will be out in October.
