Progress Update: A Woman of Whispers

First Draft Completed! Major Rewrites Completed!

We’re getting down to the nitty-gritty. Fine-tuning. Sharpening. Still a ways to go, but we’re getting there fast. We’re hoping to get this into the copyediting stage mid-September.

The cover art has been commissioned. I haven’t seen any proofs yet, but I’ll share those soon.

There will be an audiobook. There will be paperbacks and hardcovers this time.

Still looking at a fall release.

Here’s the liner-notes/blurb just to tease:

Every whisper hides a secret. Every secret has a price.

They call her Little Wolf—half-Skarrowyn, half-human, and unclaimed by any man. For years, she’s survived by her wits and her blades, and the tides of her restless heart. But when she wakes in the mud with her memories stolen, even her name feels like a stranger’s.

When she’s offered a contract to steal a powerful witch from the ruins of a forgotten holdfast, Wolf jumps at it. Because she doesn’t believe in witches, or blight, or magics. She doesn’t even believe in love.

But when the witch turns out to be nothing but a girl, tortured, burned, and brutalized, Wolf starts to wonder—about a truth she’s carried too long, a lie she hides from herself, and a love she never thought she’d share.

Now, Wolf must choose between the lies shes lived and a road of betrayal, trust, and dangerous truths. A choice that could lead to her ruin, or reshape the world.
