“It isn’t recommended, Captain, but piloting until we reach the edge of the star system is preferable,” came the AI’s response.

Robert gave Richard a kind smile. “Want to process and send our findings while I pilot?”

Richard thought about if for half a second before responding, “You don’t mind?”

“Go ahead. I’ll manage here until you’re done.”

“Thanks.” Richard gave him a grateful smile and nod as he unlatched his safety harness and made his way to the hatch leading to the corridor and left.

Robert sighed as the door slid closed behind Richard. This was the easy part.
