I will be running a storytelling creative writing course with Heartplace for four weeks starting 11 October.

Have you ever felt you have many stories from your life but don’t know how to tell them? There is an art to storytelling, especially crafting stories from your life for the page or stage. Telling your story can be empowering and healing, and Judith has witnessed this firsthand as a storyteller. In this course with Judith you will be equipped with all the tools you need to create compelling stories from your life that will move audiences and readers alike. You will feel prepared to take the mic after this course!
 
In this four-week course, we will
–       Choose a story to tell
–       Learn the structure of a well-crafted story
–       Workshop the story together
–       Write and perform the story in an oral storytelling session
The course will take place on four Saturdays in 1.5 hour sessions on
–       11 Oct, 18 Oct, 25 Oct and 1 Nov 2025
–       From 2:00 – 3:30 PM
–       At Heartplace, 19 Blinco Street, Fremantle
This course is suitable for all levels, whether you are a seasoned writer or just exploring writing for the first time.
