The book Rome and Jerusalem, originally published in 1862 by Moses Hess, enlightened me about Jewish intentions.

Moses Hess describes that Jews want to “unite humanity” and “usher in the Messianic era”, a sort of Marxist utopia. But to do so, Jews needed to be able to direct and control non-Jewish societies!
