I’m working full time on Home and Dragons, and I’m having a blast! To say my characters are taking on their own lives and telling their own stories is an understatement.

Today, let me tell you how it all began: An accident. I’m sitting with a group of writer friends, and we’re challenging each other with various prompts. The prompt I was given had nothing to do with dragons. I can’t recall it having anything to do with anything that’s in the story at all, but it’s where I met my first two characters, Jasper and Randall. In that first meeting, they told me all about the first dragon attack. 

Before long, I was playing with AI images and came up with this one.

I’m devoting the rest of 2025 to completing Home and Dragons. While I introduce the characters and a few events to you, I promise to give away any spoilers: at least; I hope not, but you may get one or two.
