I’m posting this because I’ve seen other authors being questioned about whether or not they use AI in their work. It hasn’t happened to me and I hope it never does, but I want to make clear what I think about it.

I was first published in 2010, though I’d been writing for many years before that. I learned to generate ideas, write, and edit without AI, and I don’t see a reason I would ever need to use it or even want to use it. I also won’t use it for my self-published book covers. Since I want to be paid for my work, I believe in paying other creators for their work as well. I’ve purchased many images over the years to use in my covers and I will continue to do so.

That’s it. I don’t know if there is much else to say. I may do more posts about my individual covers and how I created them, partly because I enjoy the process so much. At one time I thought I might go into graphic design, and I do love to use photoshop to combine and blend elements. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
