Writing update + what's next
Hey all,
It's been a while since I did an update. I've been pretty busy and I'm trying to shift my writing career in a more professional direction for the sake of brand cohesion and marketing. Which sounds super scary and intimidating but it actually means fun things like...
NEW COVERS: I'm currently in the process of getting new covers for my books. These will have full "wraps" that extend to the spine and back cover. Raise the Blood, My Blood Is Risen, and Rent Girl have the "new" covers. Little Deaths and Through a Glass Darkly are in the process of being redone. If you want copies of the current versions, I suggest getting them soon.
NEW BOOK: I'm currently working on My Blood Is Risen, which is a companion book to RTB written entirely from the hero's POV. It's about 60% complete and then I'm going to start edits. This book is probably going to have a preorder and I'll post more on that soon. It's been almost ten years since I did one! I'm excited.
NEW SERIES: I'm revising the Shadow Thane series, which has been pulled from publication and out of print for about a year on Amazon. The revamped version will be written in first person POV, and the characters will be aged up. Catherine will be around 20 and Finn is going to be close to 40. It's also going to be SMUTTY. And will also have NEW COVERS!
I also have a lot of gothic romances with hot toxic men on the backburner that I'm pecking at. I don't really have a lot of free time at the moment, so I typically pick one project and work on that until it's done or I lose steam. I CAN force myself to work on projects I'm less interested in but I don't want to, and until this is my day job, I don't think I should have to.
Anyway, I'm excited to have at least one new book out soon for you to read and several other things (some secret, some not) to be announced later!
Also, I have a newsletter now! And you should sign up for it! (Don't forget to confirm your subscription-- it will send you an email that will probably end up in your spam)
