“What does that mean?” Sarah asked, knowing the answer but hoping she was wrong.

“Hey, It’s okay. You’re a likable person and he likes you. Besides, you couldn’t have known.”

“Did you?” Sarah asked. The last thing she needed was to be the only one who didn’t know who he was.

“Nope,” Natalie answered. “Still don’t truth be told. Just felt like a strong possibility given your luck.”

Sarah couldn’t deny that. If there was a way to make a situation a slapstick reel, it was her. It was her best talent.
