Ta-Daa! Done!

It’s taken much longer than I thought it would, though serious family issues in late Spring and early Summer didn’t help, but Imperial Rogue (Ashes of Empire #7) is finally done. It won’t come out in October because I need to do several revision runs and then it goes to my editor, but barring any unforeseen problems, it’ll be published sometime in November. I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I published my last book, but life does tend to mess up the best laid plans. After Imperial Rogue, I think I’ll turn my attention to Coins for the Dead, the first in a new series that won’t be set in the Commonwealth and Empire universe because, quite frankly, part of why it’s taken me so long to write Imperial Rogue is that I feel like I need a change. Thirty two novels set in the same universe is a lot.

In any case, happy Fall — or Spring if you live in the southern hemisphere. The leaves are turning multicolour around here and nighttime temperatures are already reaching for the freezing point, though daytime is still nice. Keep your eye on your favourite retailer come mid-November! Stay safe and healthy, my friends.
