It's been deeply in my mind recently and all the wonderful Birthday wishes brought it even more sharply into focus. Thank you thank you to each and every one for their wonderful wishes. It's super much Appreciated and enjoyed. To celebrate and Appreciate I'd like to Share a special song.It started way back when as a teenager as a protest song, but all I had was the main refrain. Then decades later a bit more came, but not much, just the idea. But the protest never left me. I felt a subtle and nuanced negativity had been romanticised, even glorified via beauty, and this to me I see as very dangerous. Such, I feel deeply, needs a counter in the World, hence my protest.Fairly recently, the More of the song finally fell into place and I also had a focus for my feeling, and thus every line is true and real and meant fully. It's the only way I can write. Likely why I could not finish it before, the appropriate focus and object was not there. I have always wanted to put the song to music but it wasn't possible at the time. Recently a friend who is immersed in songwriting and creating shared with me the means to finally be able to hear my song. After much much effort I finally have a version which comes close to how I hear it inside, and it is luminously beautiful to me. I feel it's most Appropriate to Share now.
