An early happy birthday to Elves!

Good evening, Write Edge readers! We’re into fall and almost halfway through October. This is one of my most favorite times of year for many reasons but especially because this coming weekend will be the fourth book birthday of my first release, The Truth About Elves! I’m so proud of this novella and all it’s accomplished. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to work part-time for Santa, come find out by getting your signed copy today. Just go to my author website to order now!

It’s Monday, so for all you writers out there here’s your little bit of motivation to keep at it. It’s a quick little primer on how to maintain clarity throughout your stories from cozy mystery author Elizabeth Spann Craig. She writes:

We lose readers when readers have to stop and figure out who’s talking, where they are, or what just happened. The good news is that most confusion comes from easily fixable problems that you can catch during revision.

Tomorrow on Instagram I’ll share in my #bookreviewpreview what I #amreading for this week’s latest pick on The Write Edge Bookshelf. Find my handle, @EktaRGarg, on the app, or look for it on my Facebook author page. Then come back to The Bookshelf on Wednesday to read the full review.

Finally, on Friday, we go back to Instagram for all sorts of shenanigans. I have a feeling this week is going to bring its fair share of them, so keep an eye out, readers!

Have a great night!

E.R.G.
