October 18, 2025: A Quarter Century Of Quality – Still Available?!
Our mega-secret master database which I'm not supposed to talk about lists everything the company has ever done. I'm a data geek at heart – I mean, I'm many kinds of geek, of which "data" is one – so I decided on a whim to poke around and see what I could find.
I like round numbers, so I was curious about what came out 25 years ago, in October 2000. (I had to pause after typing that sentence as I came to grips with "the year 2000" being not just "the future," but actually representing "a quarter century ago" . . .)
We've always strived to make items that withstand the test of time, which means the digital era has been particularly kind to our back catalog. Thus I was expecting some of our items from back then to be available to purchase. However, I was shocked to discover that – not counting T-shirts – every item from October 2000 is still available in some fashion!
Going down the list, we have:
• The Principia Discordia – in its third printing in 2000; you can still get it as a PDF.
• GURPS Steampunk – available as a PDF or On Demand softcover.
• Suppressed Transmission 2 – available as a PDF or On Demand softcover.
• Deluxe Illuminati – available as Illuminati Second Edition .
• Illuminati Y2K – This item has had seven printings over the decades, with the most recent one in 2019. We still have some copies on Warehouse 23!
I know not everything can remain in print forever, but – at least for a few minutes – it's kind of fun to party like it's October 2000.
