Dave Chapelle said it best, regarding our lack of progress as a country, and China’s astounding creativity and accomplishments:  “Everybody in the US is racist; everybody in China is Chinese.”  Woe is the US; held back  in this way.  My parents and grandparents brought nothing but their best to the building of America.  It would be a different world if they had had a voice in how it would grow.  It is, interestingly, not a consolation to witness its failure.
