My first book, Love and Other Mental Health Concerns, debuted on Amazon yesterday and the feeling of relief was astounding. I have been so excited to get this story out into the world, and feel like I can breathe a little easier now that I have accomplished the goal.

The support I felt from friends, family and random people on the internet yesterday was very emotionally provoking, much more than I anticipated!

In an attempt to look at writing as more than a hobby, I have tried to picture the release of a book as just a step in the journey, like in any other job. So many professions require months of work with a goal of a solid presentation, pitch, sales goal, etc. And while the release does feel like that in some ways, it also feels like just the beginning of something...more?

All I wanted to do last night was sit down and finish the outline for my second book. Just wanted to keep this train moving so that I keep learning and keep producing, and keep having fun!

So thank you to anyone who maybe reads this and has shown support to my journey either through a social media follow, a like or comment, or even a book purchase! All of it is helpful, encouraging, and guides me on the path to figuring out who I am in this writing journey.

All of this rambling to say, it's been a great week!
