I said I would return to writing this blog after I came back from my vacation.So I'm Back!!   I have a few ideas on what I want to write about, but I guess I will make this a diary entry.*****    It was a scorching, sunny day, with a hot breeze coming up from the southwest. I arrived at the airport early, as I like to do. It was at a time before the government shutdown.Boring!What else can I write about? *****   Well, I plan on writing once a week at first, then I will see how it goes from there.   This is good practice for me, writing on my blog. Because I plan on publishing my third book in the spring of 2026. So I need to tone up my grammar skills before I do. Spelling will take care of itself.On that note.*****   I had a great idea while I was away.   When I was trying to get a Literary Agent to help me release my second book, I was told that I was too wordy. I wrote like the authors of the 1950s and 60s.   I thought about this and I figure, they are probably right. Those were my literary heroes growing up so why wouldn't I emulate them? But what else was going on with me, at that time, while reading those books?   I remember!   I was smoking pot which enhanced the imagery in my mind of what I was reading!So my suggestion to you all,read my first two books while smoking potand they will make a lot more sense!😎
