It’s high time for an update on all things Heather and books.

I am thrilled by how much you all loved this story. Each email and review brings a smile to my face. Much love to my ARC team for posting their reviews far and wide. I’m sad to set the Sweet family aside, but who knows–there are cousins with stories to be told. Maybe one day.

Just lately my eyesight dimmed again. I had cataract surgery 3 years ago but for the last few months I’ve struggled to see my computer screen and other things. Finally twigged that I needed to head back to my specialist and have my eyes checked over. The verdict: Posterior capsule opacification! I had my eyes lazered that day and now I see clearly again. That also means I can spend some quality time with my computer and particularly photoshop with my new stock images so I will finally be able to work on book cover art again. Btw, I will never use ai-generated images for my book covers.

I am currently in my mobile office, our motorhome Alvie, sitting by the ocean and working on my current work in progress. My dog Wally is at my side grumping about people getting to close to our campsite. Hubby off fishing somewhere. For the moment, right here, life is peaceful and its everything I need to refill my soul.
