Peter E. Fenton Is Back From The World Tour

Apologies for the delay of a month for the newsletter, but I have been away. My travels took me over 52 000 kilometers around the world as I attended the Romance Author and Reader Event (RARE) in Melbourne, Australia and then continued my journey back to Toronto.

For those who are already subscribers, here are a few updates to share with you.

The RARE conference was certainly the largest event I have attended to date, with over 1700 attendees. The line-up to get in (shown above) is a testament to the passion of romance readers who travelled from across the globe to meet their favorite authors. As large as the overall event seemed, there was still time to visit, one on one with readers. I had the chance to sign lots of books and also to connect with a whole new group of folks who reside on the other side of the planet. Thanks to all of you who came to say hi. One of my personal highlights was meeting cover model and cover model photographer Wander Aguiar. If you read romance, you have probably seen one of his beautiful covers. While I was away, work was still happening with my novels. One exciting development is that The Declan Hunt Mysteries series are being translated into many different languages. Mann Hunt is now available in English, German, Italian and Spanish. Both Hoodoo House and The Burnt are now available in English, Italian and Spanish. If you know a friend who wants to read the series and speaks one of the other languages, let them know that the books are now available.

I’m also thrilled to share the news that The Burnt has been nominated for a Goodreads M/M Romance Readers’ Choice Award in the Mystery/Whodunnit category. If you are a member of Goodreads and part of the M/M Romance group, you can vote for the book starting on December 1st. I will post a link in the next newsletter for those who wish to take part in the voting.

Many of you have been asking when the Declan Hunt series is going to be available as an audio book.

I am happy to announce that the audio book of Mann Hunt will be coming out before the end of the year. Watch next month’s newsletter for the update on how to start listening. Narrator Sam Rosenthal voices a huge cast of characters in a lively reading that will keep you guessing until the end. Stay tuned for more news next month.

The winner of the “Will It Be You?” contest for new subscribers will be revealed in next month’s newsletter. I will be going through all of the subscribers who have joined this fall and randomly selecting the person who will have a character named after them in the fourth and final installment of The Declan Hunt Mysteries series. In the meantime, I am hard at work writing on the fourth book, which is scheduled to come out this upcoming summer.
