I wanted to share something meaningful from this past week.

Bear in the Dragon’s Shadow reached #6 in Amazon’s War & Military Action Fiction category, an outcome I honestly didn’t expect when I published this book.

For a debut novel, written mostly in early mornings and late nights, this has been surreal in the best way. Seeing readers discover Matt Scales, leave thoughtful reviews, and talk about the characters has been one of the most rewarding parts of this whole process.

And because a few people have asked:
The Kindle edition will be part of an Amazon Countdown Deal from Nov 24 through Dec 1.
If you’ve been meaning to grab it or know someone who might enjoy it, that’s the window where it’ll be briefly discounted.
