I had a birthday yesterday. I have to admit that I did dread it. I doubt anyone looks forward to turning 76 years old. I enjoyed it because my daughters celebrated with me. My husband Tom, took me out to brunch. He said my birthday present is our remodeling project. I want to have new vanities, a bigger shower in the master bathroom (it is very small now), and take the bathtub out of the hall bathroom and replace it with a new shower. We paid half of the cost to the contractor. I'm not sure when he will actually get started. I'm guessing after the holidays. He's finishing up a project for someone right now!  

Emily got delicious food from Chick-fil-A, had a birthday cake that was so yummy, and we watched a movie together last night. The beautiful flowers are from April and Christina. I received gift cards for Kohl's and Bob Evans from April. I'm going out to brunch next week with Christina! Amanda got me a necklace. It was nice to hear from good friends, too!
