Historically a disease of the elderly, the incidence of colon cancer amongst people 50 years old and under began to increase significantly beginning around 1994. Today, 10% of new colon cancer cases are found in patients under the age of 50 years old. I was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the Sigmoid Bowel, Stage 2A, in November 2022 at the age of 48 years old. "Intestinal Fortitude" is my story.

I'm considering making an audiobook version, but I'm unsure if it is an efficient use of my time. Any advice on this is welcome.
