This is my first official post as a Goodreads Author, and I wanted to begin by sharing something personal: why dark romance is the genre I chose…and why I love writing it.

Dark romance is a place where characters aren’t perfect, love isn’t simple, and healing rarely happens without a few emotional bruises along the way.

For me, dark romance isn’t about shock value.
It’s about depth.
It’s about exploring the parts of human nature that are complicated, flawed, messy, or misunderstood and watching two people find connection anyway.

The villains were always funner anyways, right?
