As I lay in bed, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching me from the shadows, and it wasn't until I heard my own voice whisper "goodnight" back to me that I realized I wasn't alone. It was then that I saw my own face staring back at me from the corner of the room, its eyes black as coal, and its skin stretched into a twisted, sinister grin.
