New book
I knew I'd be bad at this blogging thing. Anyway, it seems now is a good time to create a post, as I'm about to release a new book (cue fanfare!).
SLAYING DRAGONS for TAIL
What is it?
It's a sort of modern / post / grimdark fantasy, single point of view, written in third person, though only from the main character's (limited) perspective. It's packed with humour (well, my humour) and action, and both does and doesn't conform to the standard sort of fantasy tropes.
When is it?
It will release on the 1st of February 2026.
Where is it?
Amazon, basically. There will be a paperback version as well (just working on the formatting and proofs), and it will also be on Kindle Unlimited.
Why is it?
Good question, me. Slaying Dragons for Tail is in no way related to my first book, Edge, and the reason for that is because I began studying a Master of Laws degree soon after I released Edge, and fairly quickly concluded that I couldn't keep track of the various threads while also focusing on my studies. So I began writing something else alongside, which I then also had to sideline because that became to complex to properly do justice to, and then I started writing Slaying Dragons instead. So this book is far simpler in scope than Edge, but I personally think it's better overall. I'd certainly like to think I've improved as a writer. Anyway, the important takeaway is that there will be sequels to Edge, but I won't begin re-working on them until the end of 2026 when my studies are concluded. In the meantime, I am already working on a follow up to Slaying Dragons, so if you like my new book then there will be a sequel to look forward to in roughly a year or so.

Nice!! As soon as the new book comes out i will read it. Loved Edge. I hope Edge will become something like The gardens of the moon, 10 years from now people will talk about the first of the many books of the series. The humor parts of your book was amazing. I hope you can keep writing more and more books. Congrats

I mean, that would be awesome, but I don't dare to allow myself such hope. I certainly learned a lot while writing Edge, or at least I feel I did, and I am very much looking forward to getting back to that universe and tightening certain things up.
Either way, I fully intend to keep on writing more, and it sure is nice to know that someone out there (apart from myself) enjoys my efforts. Hopefully SDfT will not disappoint!
