Have you heard the song, I Loved Her First by Heartland? The first time I heard it, my slashy little heart went pitta pat, and I said "Suppose it was I loved him first? And I thought about Myles, Wills and Theo's second child. And of course Wills would love all his children equally, but because Myles was biologically Theo's, Wills would love him just a little bit more.

That's how I Loved Him First came to be. We follow Myles as he confesses his preference for his sister's Princess Leia slave girl costume, to his appearance at the school talent show, to his first heartbreak and final love.
