Brain Dump!

Things are hard. Things have been hard for.... honestly for as long as I can remember. But, allow me to update any fans I may have here:

I am officially divorced from a relationship I was in for 14 years. It was not my decision and I was heartbroken and still am. My ex has custody of our son and I miss him dearly. I have not communicated with him in monthes however because 1) he doesn't have his own phone, 2) I've had to communicate with him through my ex and their current new relationship and the interactions have been increasignly getting more and more unempathetic, guilt manipulating, and shaming of myself which has caused multiple mental relapses and spirals, which leads to 3) for my own sanity and safety and to gaurantee the chances of my son to have his biological mother in his life later on when he has more independent forms of communication, I have completely cut them off.

"Why are you saying all this? You're an author, just give me your stories, I don't care about your life."

First off, rude.

Secondly, I say this detail because I was inspired to write down my stories in the first place by my now ex. 14 years with someone kinda does that. There is a character in Kings of Mythology that is inspired by my ex, and I do struggle to continue writing the vision I have for that character due to these life events. Even though the character is not a main character, they are still an integral part to the story on a whole, and writing their scenes puts me through a mild heart broken loop all over again.

Lastly, and the whole reason I'm getting to, I went through the editting and publishing process while the divorce was happening. A lot of things have been overlooked due to my blue tinted dark gaze of the time. Now that I am in a better place, I am looking it over again and editing the story for a future republished edition before I finish and release the second part of the story.

Kings of Mythology is not the only story that has suffered from this. I have multiple stories I have been working on. I even have an Ao3 account where I release more of my unedited works chapter by chapter under my gamer tag "chihinoke".

I cannot emphasize this enough since there has been a few scams involving some stealing stories from Ao3 and publishing them on their own via Amazon KDP: Chihinoke on AO3 is Bailing Lue. I, Bailing Lue, am Chihinoke

If you are interested in supporting me there, here is my Ao3 link.

I will be having Beta and ARC sign ups soon for the edited version of Kings of Mythology, but you can always read the currently published unedited version to support me.

I'll stop my rant here.
Thank you all again for your support.
