Strokes and Brain Function

Being that I have been interested in brain study for some 50 years, or more accurately, in human function, having a stroke offered a unique opportunity to study that. My stroke was in the Pons, which is in the mid-brain, and apparently the left side of the Pons, since my symptoms were on the right side of the body. I spent a couple days in the hospital and have rehabbed now for some 8 months. It was an ischemic stroke, caused by a blood clot, which cause some 80% of strokes.
