It’s been a full couple of weeks around here, and now that December is in full swing, I thought it was the perfect time to grab a mug of something warm and catch up with you.We had a lovely Thanksgiving—quiet, cozy, and full of good food. It always feels like the official start of the holiday season for me, and this year was no different. But the minute the leftovers were packed up, I shifted right into book-launch mode because…The Cold Case and the Corpse releases NEXT WEEK on December 9th!

Seeing my book on that list was such a pinch-me moment, and I’m incredibly grateful.

Alongside launch prep, I’ve been hard at work on my little “secret project.” I can’t say anything just yet (I know, I know!), but everything will be revealed in January and I’m counting down the days until I can tell you more.On the home front, it’s been busy too. Connie had surgery recently—she had three cysts removed during her dental cleaning—and this week she finally got her sutures out. She’s healing beautifully and milking the extra snuggles for all they’re worth. I can’t blame her.And if that wasn’t enough excitement, my dad relocated from NYC to Connecticut a little over a month ago, so I’ve been helping him get settled. It’s been an adjustment for him (and for me!), but we’re finding our new rhythm, and I’m grateful he’s closer.All in all, it’s been a season of big emotions, busy days, and lots of lists but also so much gratitude.Thanks, as always, for spending a little time with me.
