Hello again! I hope you all had a great Christmas and as we approach the new year I want to share the news on Midas. Since the previous update, I have finished the initial rewrite and edit of the book. Then I hired a real editor for the first time and have received the edit for the book. Now the next step is for me to implement the necessary changes before i move on to beta readers and the final steps.

These changes will not be a herculean effort because, thankfully, I’ve done a good enough job with the book over the years already. There is really just one scene that needs to be rewritten and some other small changes on clarification that enhance the story. Probably the most tedious aspect of the edit will be correcting my poor grammar.

I intend to have this completed before Spring. I will then attempt a traditional publication route. And if that doesn’t work, I will simply publish it.

When will it release? If I do self-publish, it will release 2026. If I get a publisher, it’s hard to say.
