The Grinch lives down a cliff,
Far where no one gets a whiff,
Only him and his dog who only sniffs.
Far, far away from all the Christmas lights,
Wanting to ruin it all during the night
Dresses as Santa with his tights
And goes to steal it all with end in sight.
Never leave a thing behind
From the presents to huge roast beast
Even to the cheese which the mice feast
Finally to the last place.
Took it all in disgrace
But soon a little girl comes with grace.
She tells him a sad story.
He wants to give it all back in the morning.
He knows he should for glory.
So he does.
He now knows
the true meaning of Christmas
and everything it stores.
