Book 3 of The Zero Protocol Chronicles released this week, and Book 4 quietly moved into pre-sale. I’m aware that, from the outside, that can look like momentum. From the inside, it feels more like alignment.
This series was always designed to unfold in layers rather than crescendos. Each book resolves something locally while unsettling something larger. By the time I reached Book 3, it became clear that the story was no longer about escalation, but consequence — what happens when systems, once set in motion, no longer need permission to continue.
Book 4 exists because of that realization. It doesn’t continue the story so much as press on the assumptions underneath it.
If you’re reading along, thank you for your attention and patience. These stories reward both.
