Writing Update

I’m beyond excited for you all to have Nightwither in your hands so soon after Starheart, especially because the next part of Stella’s story mirrors so much of my own journey.

That said, releasing two books within 13 months simply isn’t sustainable for someone who isn’t writing full-time. Authoring is still something I do alongside my regular work, and in order to publish books as quickly as I’ve been releasing them, I’ve had to start working on the next one before the previous even comes out. While I have an incredible team supporting me, most of the decisions and creative workload fall on my shoulders... and that pace isn’t healthy or creatively sustainable.

I’m so grateful I will be able to bring you Nightwither as quickly as I will be, but I also want to set realistic expectations for future release timelines. This way, the joy of writing stays at the forefront of every book, every chapter, every page, and every word. I have started writing book 3 in the Starheart Saga but I am taking my time and not pushing for another 13 month release after Nightwither. I love telling these stories, and I want to honour that passion rather than run myself dry. I’m excited to keep creating worlds and characters I’m truly proud to share with you.
