Had a not-so-fun xmas. Me suffering from food poisoning, my Mum going down with a nasty UTI, my dad getting an infection and that being the final straw to committing him to a full time care.

We're out the other side, now. I'm still wary of eating out, but back to my improved exercise and diet. We managed to find a room for Dad in a home in the village, which is excellent and makes going to see him vary easy. Mum's getting used to him not being there, and is enjoying not having to deal with all his things.

It's a new stage of life.

And I've started a new novel. First of a new series. Some crazy characters and situations I'm looking forward to sharing with you all.

First off, I'm finishing the Desolation series. I'm really enjoying shoving these characters into more and more uncomfortable situations. The Same River Twice will be up on Kickstarter in March/April. Join me on the ride:

2026 is certainly shaping up to be an interesting year. We now all officially live in interesting times.
