Aside from one disappointment, it was a really good weekend.

The only downside was Wizard and Turbo didn’t get to go racing. They were both disappointed. To cheer Wizard up, we went out to breakfast. We just went to IHOP, which generally is just okay. But both of us were surprised how good our breakfasts were. Then I headed out to find lamps and actually found them. I bought three. We haven’t been able to do anything in the house for a while due to time, so this felt like a win

Saturday I went to the baby shower with youngest daughter in law and her mom. We had a great time. Special K is radiant with this pregnancy. And we learned another of our niece’s is pregnant. More children are always a joy. It’s so nice to catch up with people we haven’t see in a while. The shower itself was lovely with great food and very easy going atmosphere. Special K’s sister hosted and she did a beautiful job. Turbo is very excited about his little brother.

It was late when I got home, and Wizard and I both had so much to talk about I almost forgot to write this blog, LOL! While I was gone, he went over to Youngest’s house to hang out.
