It’s been quite a while since I last posted here. The past few years have been full of writing, life, and quietly gathering ideas, but I’m easing back in and looking forward to reconnecting. I'm looking forward to being here - somewhere to come that is a haven, a place away from the tumult of the wider world and where I can lose myself in books and the companionship of other book lovers.
Lately I’ve been immersed in a new novel that moves between Cornwall and France across two timelines. I’m still in that delicious early stage where the characters are settling in and the world is unfolding around them.
Away from the desk I’ve been trying to spend as much time outdoors as possible as the fresh air always seems to untangle plot knots. I find walking and riding meditative and I have discovered many of my best ideas this way.
I’d love to hear what everyone’s been reading lately, any recommendations?
