Chit Chat
Hi,
This week I started out working on the last FM book, but I got another round of edits for The Heart Won't Lie. So, I'm working on that this week. Still no word on a publication date. No cover. I will share that when it arrives in my in box.
I had a tiny problem to fix--two chapters were out of order. I am so glad I caught that. So, its onward to finishing up.
I don't know if I shared this excerpt here yet, but here is an excerpt from the final FM book which still does not have a title. This excerpt is from the beginning of the book. Erys and Sofia are closing up Bridget's uncle's house.
“What are you going to do with the money your father and uncle left you?” Erys asked.
“I talked to Camun, Jorja’s lawyer, and she told me the will was valid,” Sofia answered quietly. “Uncle Trammel had more or less adopted me, so I’m going to repay the favor.”
“How do you mean?” Erys asked.
“He would have wanted them to have something, so I’m giving them their due. I worked everything out with the lawyer,” Sofia answered. “I have enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my life with a few smart investments.”
“Are you leaving?”
Sofia smiled softly, holding the other woman’s gaze. They hadn’t become lovers yet, but she no longer doubted they would. In fact, she was looking forward to it.
Sofia rested her hand on Erys’s. “I like Diamond Reservation, and I’d like to make my life there.”
