TGIF! February is leaving us this weekend and March is moving in. While that big move is happening, we will be sharing five random things about our week. Here’s mine…if I can remember the ones I thought of this week, then forgot by Thursday…

I know it’s still February (I checked to be sure!), and yet, we’re having 80 degree weather. Last week was rainy and cold. When did February become so bi-polar?Wizard did a massive 3 day cleanup of trimming bushing in the hill in the back yard. That’s awesome and I love that he somehow does this work despite some very challenging physical issues. But…that leaves me doing things like grocery shopping and Costco runs unsupervised by myself.  Lucky for him, I’m naturally cheap and therefore, didn’t do anything wild. Unlucky for him, I don’t buy much in the way of junk food I discovered yesterday that I could not make phone calls, and that I was not getting text messages. My phone evidently was mad about something and disconnected itself from all networks. So basically…my phone is either a toddler or a teen throwing a tantrum. Once I tried to make a phone call and realized it, I fixed the problem. Then texts messages flooded in and I felt bad for those I’d ignored for 24 hours.That phone call I was trying to make? I  was attempting to make Maggie an appointment for a bath today. Wait…did Maggie sabotage my phone to try and prevent this very thing? Hmm…while I ponder that, here’s a couple pics of Miss Maggie sure she has a lizard cornered:Wizard and I had lunch with a friend we hadn’t seen in a while. That was fun! Usually it’s just she and I who go to lunch, but this time, we were gracious enough to invite Wizard. Next time, we’ll do just the girls for our usual lunch and shopping. No one wanted to take Wizard shopping, and he was very relieved to hear that. It’s always fun to catch up with friends, and these days, we all seem to be grandparents as well.
