Deep Gratitude
Today feels really special.
My Goodreads Giveaway for Addy Bunny’s Super Brain has officially launched on Goodreads and I’m sitting with a lot of gratitude.
When I first wrote this story, it wasn’t with algorithms or marketing in mind. It was written from a very personal place, from the part of me that once struggled quietly with big emotions, and from the part of me that is now parent, wanting my own child to feel understood instead of “too much.”
Launching this giveaway feels vulnerable in the best way. It means letting this story leave my hands and enter yours. It means trusting that somewhere, a child who feels overwhelmed by their feelings will see themselves in Addy Bunny. It means a parent might read these pages and breathe a little easier knowing they’re not alone.
There’s something powerful about a community of readers coming together around a book. Goodreads has always felt like a space where stories find the people who need them. So seeing Addy Bunny’s Super Brain now sitting there available to be discovered, requested, and shared feels surreal and deeply humbling.
If you enter the giveaway, thank you.
If you share it, thank you.
If you simply hold the intention that this book reaches the right families, thank you.
More than anything, I hope this story becomes a small anchor for children with big feelings and a reminder that their brains aren’t broken… they’re powerful.
With gratitude,
Calvin Alardo, LMHC
