A family visitor! Ali’s sister took a break from the beautiful Minnesota February to come to Mexico and spend some time with us here on our home turf. We’d have a great time together. It was fun to show off our town to someone who had never been.

Za was out for a walk and ran into Lowe on his walk home from school. She was quite happy about it.

Our favorite restaurant out in the country (really just a fifteen minute drive out of town), El Pavo. When we drove up we all commented how happy the horses looked. They were sprinting back and forth in their field. A few seconds later they disappeared around the corner of a building and then came charging down the path, now with a donkey and two dogs in tow, too. They’d busted right through the fence, ran through the restaurant, the parking lot, and straight into the vineyard for snacks.

Wrap up a nice night out with a stop at the mirador. Tomorrow we’re off to see the Monarch migration.
