World Book Day
HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY!
Fact: One of the cruelest questions a person can ask a book lover is to name their favorite book.
Rather than compiling my definitive “Favorite Books Ever”, here are some of the books I love.
Follow the River by James Alexander Thom
The Puffin Book of Salt-Sea Verse compiled by Charles Causley
Mother of God by Paul Rosolie
The Ware tetralogy by Rudy Rucker
Dororo by Osamu Tezuka
Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Edgar Allan Poe
Marly: ou la neige en été by Emmanuel Lantam
Dinotopia by James GurneyWhat about you? What books do you like? Do we share any of the same favorite books?

I tend to alternate between reading text-only books and picture-heavy books, fiction and non-fiction, short and expansive, trades and children’s books, etc. This seems to help me retain more of what I read, and keeps me actively thinking and taking in stories in different ways.
I prefer physical, printed books to audiobooks and screens, and I love seeing the world through another’s eyes.

Here’s to more reading time for us all!
