World Book Day

HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY!

Fact: One of the cruelest questions a person can ask a book lover is to name their favorite book.

Rather than compiling my definitive “Favorite Books Ever”, here are some of the books I love.

⭐ Follow the River by James Alexander Thom⭐ The Puffin Book of Salt-Sea Verse compiled by Charles Causley⭐ Mother of God by Paul Rosolie⭐ The Ware tetralogy by Rudy Rucker⭐ Dororo by Osamu Tezuka⭐ Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Edgar Allan Poe⭐ Marly: ou la neige en été by Emmanuel Lantam⭐ Dinotopia by James Gurney

What about you? What books do you like? Do we share any of the same favorite books?

📚

I tend to alternate between reading text-only books and picture-heavy books, fiction and non-fiction, short and expansive, trades and children’s books, etc. This seems to help me retain more of what I read, and keeps me actively thinking and taking in stories in different ways.

I prefer physical, printed books to audiobooks and screens, and I love seeing the world through another’s eyes.

Here’s to more reading time for us all!
