(Almost) Spring Update
Yes, hi, it's me; the author who fell behind (again) on my GR blog. As soon as I think of another task on my list, often, it falls to the wayside, because 'something' more pressing gains my attention. Goodreads is that task, which has sadly taken the very back seat on my list. And it's not that I don't think GR is important... it just hasn't been a priority for me.
Is there a fix? Good question, because I honestly don't have an answer. I can only ask you, as a reader, a friend, a follower, how important are these blogs to you? Are you active here? Do you follow my journey by other means, such as SM or newsletter? Could you care less? ;)
I want to reach my readers where it matters, so let me know in the comments.
Now, for my updates...
I've been writing up a storm! I completed my second Monsters of New York paranormal romance for Evernight Publishing and submitted. Awaiting first edits.
Then I had planned to start my next military romance, but another shared world opportunity arose, and I quickly jumped on board. Yes, it's with Evernight! Yes, books are already coming out in the world! And, it's an MC - Motorcycle Club - world! I wrote a chapter a day for eight days! the story flowed tremendously. Then it slowed down. Again, life. But I'm making steady progress and hope to finish within a week or two and submit.
THEN I hope to start my next military romance.
I'm also preparing for several upcoming signings at various Barnes & Noble stores in Washington and on in Boise, Idaho.

With spring nearly upon us, days are getting longer and warmer, which means deciding on projects around the house and property.
Hubby's been working hard and also enjoying progress in the shop on a project pickup - a 1978 GMC Square body - which is receiving a huge makeover. I help when needed, where I can. I love seeing his joy at the progress!
So, what else? I'm attending a local Romance Book Club each month which I enjoy immensely. I love getting together with other gals to talk about not only the book of the month, but all things romance.
And I recently jumped on TikTok. Yeah, wow, right? Overdue? Maybe, but I wasn't ready to devote more time to yet another platform... until now. I'm doing what I can, where I can.
So if you're on there and want to give me a follow:

I suppose that's it for now... for how long remains to be seen. ;)
Wishing you well and always, happy reading!
