Hi, friends! It's been a minute since I've worked on a bookish project. For the last several years, I've been occupied launching and running my company for writers, Scribbler. But that company successfully sold last year, and now I'm able to return to my first love--writing!

As of today, I'm 15,000 words into a projected 90,000 word manuscript. If all turns out as expected (does it ever?), this will be my debut book for an adult audience. It's been 12 years since I released my most well-known young adult book, FIRE & FLOOD. Most of that audience now finds themselves in their twenties, and it just so happens I have a heroine of precisely the same age.

I'm not *quite* ready to announce the title, genre, or anticipated release date. But when I do (soon!) it will be on Instagram at @heytoriscott. I hope you'll come say hello and follow along the journey. I've missed you!
