While I've been a member of Goodreads for two years and an author for three years, I'm brand new to the Goodreads Author program. I'm excited to meet members and become part of the community. I'm really interested in learning what readers want in their storytelling. As an author, I try to imagine myself as the reader. If it bores me, or worse yet, I feel zip when I read something I've just written, I trash it and start over. But if something I've written brings a tear to my eye, or tightens my throat, I know I've hit the sweet spot. I look forward to making new friends.
