I have struggled with how to make this announcement. Am I moving or just setting up another home?

I'll decide when I have two spare minutes to rub together.

The important thing is, I have an author website. Its blog is where I will drop all my author-y thoughts. For example, I just announced over there that my book is available for preorder now.

I will have more to say in the future. Things that are not so blatantly self-promoting. Thoughts about reading and listening to audiobooks and maybe even living your dreams. But first I have to recover from work, edits, marketing and apple-tree-pruning. I have had just enough time to set the very best intentions about the weeds growing everywhere on the property, and the grass growing where I don't want it.

Spring came early. I wasn't ready. My book comes out in a few weeks. I'm doing my best to be ready for that.

I have mixed feelings about setting up shop away from Blogger, but Substack does have a little of that communal, Blogger-in-2010, RSS-feed vibe. We'll see if it helps bring some of that blogging magic back.
