Launch-month love!

All Afternoon launched on April 21, and I am so grateful for the overwhelming response from readers, who made the book a "Hot New Release" on Amazon, number-one new release in Jewish American Fiction, and top-10 new book in several other categories.

Many thanks to the Goodreads readers (you!) who have reviewed the book so favorably and recommended it so enthusiastically. (I've loved seeing the shelves readers have put the book on, too; I'd love it if you'd do that, too!)

And thank you to the Bookstagrammers and media who have raved about All Afternoon online and in print.

Having worked on All Afternoon on and off for 17 years (not a typo: SEVENTEEN YEARS), and having wondered, for many of those years, whether the book would ever be published, believe me when I tell you that I take none of this for granted, and that I appreciate the support.

If you've got All Afternoon on your "Want to Read" shelf, I hope you'll pick it up soon and let me know what you think.

So far, my favorite parts of publishing this book have been the knowledge that readers are relating to my characters and their dilemmas, are feeling seen, and are thinking about their own lives and the lives of the generations of women who came before, in new ways... and the sense that although most of my readers are total strangers, I am having a dialogue with you.

Thanks for joining the conversation. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. And if your book club is reading All Afternoon, I will be happy to Zoom in for a chat and to answer your questions!
