Six Haiku

Scattered at sea

my father’s ashes

waving

A child’s drawing

the seagulls and the waves

the same shape

The path leading

to the old lighthouse

lined with broken seashells

Kaleidoscope —

the glittering marina

not much changed

Beach read

the wind flipping

to the end

As the sun sinks

the volume of the ocean

increasing
