It's all still a little unreal, to be honest, when I first came up with the idea some 26 years ago. I wasn't sure if I would ever get around to writing it all down. Certainly goes to show - it's worth hanging on to the scribbled notes and old photos.

So almost a week since launch, and the book sales are doing well. The majority are from UK readers, but it's also great to see it's spreading to the US and New Zealand. So an absolute pleasure to have you all on board.

At the moment, alongside sorting out accounts on Kobo and Google Play Store, I am now getting back to writing the sequel - started while I waited for my last group of wonderful Beta readers to throw me the last lot of typos that seemed to have snuck in or at least raised their heads at the last minute.

The sequel expands on Max a little more and will give readers an insight into why he is who he is, kind of thing. But that's enough spoilers for now.

In the meantime, I am pleased to say the current book, The Opener of the Ways, is available on pretty much all platforms: Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Google Play and IngramSpark, the latter hopefully bringing the story of Max and Alex to mainstream bookstores.

Well enough for now - thanks for reading, and remember, if you enjoyed the story, I would love to hear from you.
